Who Created Vedas |Origin of Vedas

How Veda is Created

Ishwar — the ultimate one — has originated Vedas.
Let us get the evidence from our scriptures.

Yajurveda verse 31 :7 States that Rigveda, Yajurveda, Sa-maveda and Atharvaveda were originated from Him the ultimate Ishwar who is omnipresent.

Atharvaveda verse 10 :7 :20 clearly states the same essence beautifully. It says that Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva originated from the ultimate Ishwar. It asks "Which God gave the Vedas?

" For that question that answer is who is controlling and maintaining the entire universe, is the creator of Vedas. Atharvaveda is like the mouth of that Ishwar, Samaveda is like the hair on the skin, Yajurveda is close to the heart and Rigveda is the Prana or source.

• Shankaracharya writes in a commentary on Geeta 3:15 that Vedas are never created or destroyed. They merely get illuminated and de-illuminated but remain in Ishvar.
• Rigveda 10:190:3 states that the creation remains same in all cycles and hence even the constitution of the creation —the Vedas — also remain the same.

So originally Veda's are not created or written by some saints ,It is the Ishwar who created it and then it takes the form of Shruti and Smriti and later on penned down by saints by listening those verses.

Spiritually there was no difficulty. In the beginning, the Mahatmas whom the Mahatmas had given this great knowledge for the welfare of the world, continued to spread this knowledge to their disciples and then generation after generation. In this way, the tradition of Vedas education is believed to be in practice for four-five thousand years. It is believed that in the initial stage the Veda was only one, which had many verses. These were called Veda-sutras. Among these are several verses and mantras related to sacrificial rituals, lyrical positions, and public welfare.

In Sanskrit, the department is also called Vyasa, because of the diameter of the Vedas, it is called Krishnadvapayana Ved Vyas.
